Carlyle Cemetery
Association seeking maintenance
funds
The Carlyle
Cemetery Association is seeking maintenance funds to
maintain the high quality of the
cemetery. The cemetery association does
not receive tax dollars to assist in operation and
maintenance of the Carlyle Public
Cemetery . Funding comes from the sale of
cemetery lots, memorials, and donations and has not been
sufficient to adequately provide maintenance, according
to the cemetery association board of
directors.
Memorials to fund those needs
may be made at local funeral homes. Other gifts may be
mailed or presented to: Bonnie Kohrmann,
secretary-treasurer, 2240 Sand Ridge Road, Carlyle,
Illinois, phone 594-2783
Other members of the cemetery
association board include Adadell
Sheathelm, Arlene Lopez, Jim Mahlandt, Mike Langham,
and Dick Koehler, all of whom will accept
donations for the cemetery.
